The Spirit of the Pathaan

Pathaan's isn't just a name; it's a promise of hospitality. For centuries, the Pashtun people have been known for their code of honor, known as "Pashtunwali", where hospitality is paramount.

Our founder, moved by the lack of authentic, rugged frontier cuisine in the UK, decided to light the fire and bring the real taste of the Karahi to London.

Cooking on Fire

Born in Fire

We don't believe in shortcuts. Our Karahis are cooked fresh to order, over roaring high flames, just as they are in the street markets of Peshawar.

"Food tastes better when it's cooked with passion and shared with brotherhood."
